Supporting Veterans, First Responders, and Their Families

Why We Do It

Those who serve often carry invisible wounds long after the uniform comes off.

Veterans and first responders face:

  • Elevated rates of PTSD, depression, anxiety, and suicide
  • Barriers to timely mental health care
  • Financial obstacles that delay or prevent treatment
  • A culture that discourages asking for help

We do this work because waiting costs lives.

Take A Knee Foundation was created to ensure that help is accessible, stigma-free, and immediate — not months away or financially out of reach.

Our Projects

Operation Field Trip

Operation Field Trip is a flagship healing initiative created in response to the growing need for effective, accessible treatment options for veterans and first responders living with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and treatment-resistant mental health conditions.

This project exists because traditional systems often fail those with complex or long-standing trauma.

Operation Field Trip provides:

  • Access to advanced, trauma-informed therapeutic services (including ketamine-assisted therapy where clinically appropriate)
  • Structured peer support and integration coaching
  • Safe, supportive environments intentionally designed for healing
  • Ongoing follow-up and continuity of care

Operation Field Trip is not about escaping reality — it is about resetting the nervous system, restoring hope, and rebuilding connection after years of carrying invisible weight.

Heroes in Healing Fund

The Heroes in Healing Fund was created to ensure that financial hardship is never the reason someone goes without care.

This fund helps cover:

  • Out-of-pocket medical and behavioral health expenses
  • Care following critical incidents, injury, or loss
  • Services that would otherwise be delayed or denied

Heroes in Healing is both a commitment and a promise — to stand beside those who serve and the families who support them.

Our Commitment

We believe access to care should never depend on timing, geography, or finances.

Every decision we make is guided by one question: Does this help someone get the care they need, when they need it most?

If the answer is yes, we act.

Stand With Those Who Serve

Every donation, every partnership, and every shared story helps us reach more heroes in need.

Give. Share. Support.

Together, we can change outcomes — and save lives.
